Sunday, November 21st: Mandela Market Days Holiday Festival
This market takes place every weekend from November 20th through December 19th, 2021. Feel free to stop by to support small local businesses who have struggled during the pandemic. Consider stopping by the vendor booths to pick up your holiday gifts.
Monday, November 22nd: The Fabric of Being Exhibit
From November 19th, through December 31st, 2021, the Thomas Deans Fine Art Gallery will be displaying the work of Atlanta artist Lauren Betty. This exhibit, titled The Fabric of Being, involves bringing painted fabric onto the canvas for a delicate and whimsical experience.
Tuesday, November 23rd: Six Flags Holiday in the Park
Open select days now through January 2nd, Six Flags Holiday in the Park is a delightful experience for all ages. There are thousands of lights, exhilarating thrill rides, and, more importantly, plenty of hot chocolate to go around. There is something there for everybody.
Wednesday, November 24th: Garden Lights, Holiday Nights
Still haven’t reached your festive quota? The Atlanta Botanical Garden‘s annual winter light decorations will certainly get you there. Now through January 15th, visitors can marvel at the millions of lights adorning the natural beauty within Piedmont Park.
Thursday, November 25th: Thanksgiving Day
Take a break this Thanksgiving and enjoy a day of gratitude and reflection. If you find yourself sitting around at the table with family, consider creating new traditions with gratitude activities. If you’re looking for something to go out and do, consider a scenic fall hike or a visit to the Georgia Aquarium.
Friday, November 26th: Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer Puppet Show

Saturday, November 27th: Atlanta Beer Tour
If you’re looking for a more adult-centric activity, then try checking out a brewery tour! Held every Saturday, these tours will take you to three of Atlanta’s best breweries. Tickets include transportation and one pint of beer at each stop.
Sunday, November 28th: Grand Menorah Lighting
With Chanukah beginning at sundown on Sunday, November 28, it is only fitting to include a Menorah lighting on this list. Chabad Intown is hosting several Menorah lightings throughout the Atlanta area, including Virginia Highland on November 28th, Atlantic Station on November 30th, Ponce City Market on December 2nd, and Decatur on December 5th.
