One person was killed in a wreck in Northwest Atlanta around 10:30 p.m. Monday night.
The single-vehicle collision occurred in the 200 block of Hamilton E. Holmes Drive near Joseph E. Boone Boulevard.
Reports do not indicate what type of vehicle was involved, and what it ultimately crashed into. While no others outside the car in question were hurt, the incident took the life of the driver.
The identity of the driver is unknown at this time, as authorities are working to understand the circumstances that led up to this incident.
It does appear as if the driver was having a medical emergency just before the crash, the nature of which has not been confirmed.
