Arthur York joined Rafi Law Firm in 2018. During his early legal career working for large insurance companies, Arthur defended all manner of cases involving wrongful death, trucking crashes, , personal injury, property damage, complex commercial litigation, bad faith, and issues related to insurance coverage. He has extensive experience representing both Plaintiffs and Defendants in both state and federal courts.
Through his previous representation of insurance companies’ interests in hundreds of injury cases and other matters over the years, Arthur gained a wealth of experience and valuable insight into how the insurance industry operates. He now uses that knowledge and experience to help injury victims and their families. His practice is focused on representing clients in claims involving catastrophic injury and wrongful death arising from automobile and trucking crashes, negligent security, and other acts of negligence. He has been recognized as a Georgia Rising Star by Super Lawyers magazine and earned the highest rating for ethics and legal ability by America’s leading attorney peer review system.
Arthur is an Atlanta native who served for several years on the Board of Directors of Covenant Community, Inc., a non-profit life stabilization program that helps men struggling with homelessness and substance addictions reclaim their lives and relationships. He also serves on the Board of Atlanta’s Plaza Theatre Foundation. He trains and competes in mixed martial arts, boxing, Muay Thai kickboxing, and Brazilian jiu-jitsu. Arthur lives in Decatur with his wife, Anna, their three children, and rescue hounds.
