I wanted to share this photo from a friend’s wedding this past weekend:
Some of you may know these guys, because they all graduated from UGA Law with me. But, I wanted to point out that, in order from left to right we have an insurance defense lawyer, me (plaintiff’s lawyer), non-practicing lawyer, insurance defense lawyer, IP and technology lawyer, and plaintiff’s lawyer/mediator (who actually mediated our $450,000 dog bite case). I point out our different jobs, because at the end of the day, we are all in this together and we can all be friends and more than civil to each other. So, before firing off that next email, pick up the phone and at least introduce yourself to the person on the other side of your case… you may find you, gasp, get along.
